fresh, new home page!

Swap-bot finally has a new look! We remodeled the home page and added a rotating selection of images from Flickr that all have the tag “swapbot”. Check it out! (If you still want to see the original home page, don’t worry, it is right here.) The rest of Swap-bot is still pretty much the same… with the addition of the awesome new messaging system.
Your faithful and intrepid Swap-bot webmaster is busy working on lots of new ideas for the site. Look for updates in the swap search system and the swap image gallery in the near future.

I like the new frontpage, but I wish the top swaps and newest swaps lists were still ten items long, instead of just 5. I feel they were more useful (new swaps) and interesting (top swaps) when they had a bit more info.

I have a couple suggestions, and was not sure where to send them, so I’ll post them here.
Is there a way you can tell us how many pictures are in a gallery? So many times I click on “Launch Gallery Slide Show”, wait 5 minutes for it to come up (dial-up, eesh!), and then there are no pictures. I think looking at the pictures of what everyone recieved is so fun!
My other suggestion is that maybe on each swap you could somehow tell us if there are any new comments since we last looked? Same as the gallery, I have to click on each of my swaps to see if there are any new comments, only to find out there aren’t any once it finally comes up.
Just suggestions
